Oasis requires Java 1.6 or better. Please follow the directions below to ensure you have the most up-to-date Java installed on your computer.

Windows

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel
  2. Click on the Java icon. If you don't see a Java icon, you may need to click on "Switch To Classic View".
  3. When the Java control Panel opens, click on the "Update" tab.
  4. Click on the "Update Now" button. If prompted, choose to install any updates.

Mac

  1. Click on your HD icon on the desktop.
  2. Navigate to Applications > Utility > Java (or Java Utilities)
  3. Within one of the tabs, you will see a listing of all currently installed versions of Java.
  4. Make sure that Java 6 is the first listed version. You may need to drag it to the top of the two lists.
  5. If Java 6 does not appear, you need to run your Mac software update to acquire the newest Java version.
